The ADHDKC Book Club is designed to help our community read together, learn together, and share what actually works in real life.
This is more than just a book club—it’s an ongoing space for building foundational knowledge about ADHD through trusted resources, meaningful discussion, and shared lived experience.
We’ll focus on books that explore:
ADHD science and neuroscience
Practical strategies
Parenting tools
Emotional regulation
Real-life application
Personal growth across the lifespan
Our goal is simple: To better understand our children, ourselves, and ADHD—so we can feel more informed, empowered, and confident.
Whether you’re brand new to ADHD or years into your journey, there is always more to learn—and we often learn best from combining evidence-based information with the wisdom of others who truly understand.
How the ADHDKC Book Club Works
📖 One Book at a Time
We’ll read one carefully selected book each quarter.
🗓 Weekly Reading Schedule
Books are broken down into manageable weekly chapters to make participation more ADHD-friendly and realistic.
💬 Ongoing Online Discussion
Each week, new discussion questions will be posted in our ADHDKC online community forum to encourage reflection, conversation, and practical application as you read. Join our online forum/community discussions on adhdkc.org/groups.
Request to join the Book Club Group if you’re not a member - it’s free, hosted on our website, and works like Facebook without the Meta concerns.
🎥 Quarterly Live Online Meeting
Every quarter, we’ll gather online for a live book discussion to bring together what we’ve learned and share insights as a community.
Flexible Participation
Life gets busy, and ADHD can make consistency challenging. That’s why you can:
Read weekly
Read ahead
Catch up later
Join discussions anytime
Participate even if you don’t finish every chapter
There’s no wrong way to participate.
The goal is progress, not perfection.
Our First Book Selection:
