Hey ADHDKCTeens (and parents)!
Are anxious thoughts taking over?
Ever feel like a "Scaredy Cat" when facing new challenges?
You’re not alone — and we’ve got an event just for you!
Join us on March 4, 2025, at 5:30 PM CST for a FREE online event designed to help middle and high school students understand and manage anxiety.
This session will be led by our new ADHDKCTeen moderator, Stefany Ortiz, LMSW, a therapist at KU’s Counseling Center. Let’s show her a warm welcome! We’d love to see other new faces too. If you’ve never participated in one of our group events, this is a great one to join.
What You’ll Learn:
🐯 Why anxiety exists (and how it actually helped humans survive!)
🧠 How your brain and body react to stress
🔧 Practical tools to calm anxiety and rewire negative thoughts
🚀 How to turn worry into motivation
This is Stefany’s first time leading an ADHDKCTeen talk and she’s excited to work with you all!
Don’t miss out—sign up today and take charge of your anxiety.
