Building a Life That Fits: From Social Life to Professional Life
đ ADHDKC Adultsâ Group â February Meeting
đ Sunday, February 1st | 2:00â4:00 PM
đ Lenexa City Center Library, 8778 Penrose Ln, Lenexa, KS 66219
Living with ADHD impacts so many parts of adulthood â our friendships, our work lives, our careers, and everything in between. Join us for a relaxed, supportive discussion where weâll explore:
Navigating friendships and social connections
Managing relationships with coworkers and supervisors
Career paths, job satisfaction, and âfitâ
The messy middle where personal and professional lives overlap
As always, this is a discussion-based group, not a lecture. Come to listen, share, ask questions, or just be in community with others who get it.
Everyone in attendance must agree to the CHADD Participation Agreement.
Stick Around After!
After the group wraps up, weâll be heading just outside the library to the Lenexa Public Market to continue connecting. This is completely optional, but everyoneâs welcome to:
Hang out and socialize in a low-pressure way
Grab something to eat or drink
Keep conversations going in a more casual setting
Youâre welcome to join for a few minutes or stay longer. Itâs all up to you.
Whether youâre figuring out friendships, rethinking your career, or just trying to build a life that actually fits you, we hope youâll join us.
As always, ADHDKC Adult Group meetings are open, free, and designed for sharing, learning, and connecting with others who truly get it.
đ„ Who Should Attend?
Adults with ADHD, as well as partners, family members, and supporters who want to better understand accommodations and advocacy, are all welcome.
đ§ About the ADHDKC Adultsâ Group
We meet monthly to build community and support adults navigating ADHD in everyday life. Each meeting includes:
A featured topic introduced by Nic & Abby
Time for discussion, questions, and shared strategies
Space for members to suggest future topics based on what matters most to them
Whether youâre newly diagnosed or have years of lived experience, this group offers a space to connect, learn, and grow together.
đ Please Note
Weâre here to share personal stories and strategiesânot to provide treatment recommendations. The group is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. While we hope you gain helpful tools and connection, this meeting is not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
We hope to see you on Sunday, February 1st at Lenexa City Center Library!
