Our own Jeremy Didier, LMSW, LMAC, PCAC; and Jane Indergaard, DPN, RN; will lead our January parent event. This nationally recognized duo has given talks on a variety of topics across the US, always to wide acclaim. It’s sure to be a great talk!
The sibling relationship is one of the most intense and long-term relationships in one’s life. Those who study family dynamics and psychology emphasize the sibling relationship as an important context for learning and development. Furthermore, the well-documented stresses, challenges, disruptions, and emotions in a household with ADHD impact the lived experience and adjustment of everyone in it. As a result, both parents and siblings have unique support needs. However, when parents are submerged in the daunting tasks of supporting their child with ADHD, they can become engulfed in that single focus, while the needs of their child’s siblings may potentially be eclipsed.
Join us this January to learn how to support your neurotypical child(ren) and to address the needs of the whole family while parenting your neurodiverse child(ren).

Emotional regulation refers to the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's emotions. For many adolescents it is difficult to maintain control when triggered or in a stressful situation. We'll talk about ways to develop skills to regulate emotions at this January meeting.
We'll be using Mentimeter to help everyone participate anonymously. Please download the app prior to the meeting to be able to integrate it into the Zoom meeting. Introducing the Mentimeter app for Zoom - Mentimeter If you prefer to not download the app you will still be able to use Mentimeter in a separate window or device, but this should make it easier to participate.
