Do you find yourself reminding your tween or teen to:
Start (and finish!) their homework
Remember what they need to bring to school
Turn in the homework they’ve completed
Stay organized with sports, activities, and social plans
Manage big emotions without meltdowns or shutdowns
These challenges are often linked to executive functioning skills—the brain’s “manager” that helps kids plan, prioritize, and follow through.
Join us for a practical, parent-friendly session with Becky Bowe, Director of Fit Learning. Parents may remember Becky from our May talk on fostering independence. This time, she’ll dive into strategies that support the unique needs of tweens and teens as they face the growing demands of middle and high school.
Becky brings over a decade of experience as a behavior analyst, with a strong background in autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, positive behavior support, and applied behavior analysis. At Fit Learning, she applies the science of learning to teach foundational skills to learners of all ages and abilities—often achieving a year’s worth of growth in just 40 hours of individualized instruction.
Her mission: to empower families and educators with evidence-based practices that improve quality of life and learning outcomes. She’s especially passionate about precision teaching, a data-driven approach to tracking and optimizing progress.
Don’t miss this chance to learn practical tools to help your tween or teen build executive functioning skills that will last a lifetime.
