About This Event
Almost half of kids and teens with ADHD also meet criteria for an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is incredibly common — but the good news is that it’s also highly manageable with the right tools.
In this practical and empowering session, you’ll learn how anxious brains and bodies work and how to respond in ways that build resilience rather than reinforce fear. Dr. Jennifer Dilts will guide parents through science-backed strategies to help kids and teens move through anxiety with confidence.
We’ll cover:
How anxiety shows up in the brain and body
Ways to respond with empathy while still encouraging growth
Techniques for replacing unhelpful thought patterns
Tools to build coping skills and emotional resilience
Simple, effective relaxation strategies kids can actually use
You’ll leave with actionable tools and resources you can start using right away.
✨ And while this session focuses on kids and teens, these strategies are helpful for everyone — including parents — because we all experience stress and anxiety in our daily lives.
