Nutrition plays a powerful role in supporting focus, energy, and emotional balance — especially for adults with ADHD. Join us for an engaging discussion with Miriam Farber, a Registered Dietitian with over 18 years of experience and a NASM-trained Personal Trainer for more than 7 years.
Miriam graduated from the University of Minnesota in Nutrition and Dietetics (2005) and completed her clinical dietetic internship in New York in 2006. Throughout her career, she’s worked in hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing homes, and fitness centers — helping people create realistic, individualized plans that truly fit their lives. She recently earned her wellness coach certification with Wellcoaches (2025).
In this session, Miriam will share practical insights on:
🥗 Stabilizing blood sugar levels
🌿 Promoting gut health through fiber and balanced meals
💪 Adding healthy fats and incorporating exercise to improve ADHD symptoms
This event is designed to empower you with real-world strategies to feel your best — without adding stress or guilt around food.

About the Adults’ Group
The ADHDKC Adults’ Group meets monthly as a supportive community for adults navigating ADHD in real life. Each meeting includes:
A featured topic introduced by Nic & Abby (sometimes with guest experts!)
Time for group discussion, questions, and shared strategies
Opportunities to suggest future topics based on your interests and needs
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing ADHD for years, this group offers a space to connect, learn, and grow together.
🔔 Please Note: We’re here to share personal stories and strategies, not provide treatment recommendations. This group is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional to provide guidance, structure, and support in a safe and respectful environment. While the group offers opportunities for sharing experiences and learning from peers, it is not a substitute for individualized therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
