🎉 The ADHDKC Adult Group is BACK — and Better Than Ever! 🎉
Adults with ADHD (or suspect they have ADHD) are welcome to join us
We’re thrilled to announce the return of the ADHDKC Adult Group, now with two incredible new coordinators: Abbie and Nic!
Whether you’re freshly diagnosed or have been navigating ADHD for years, this group is your space to connect with others who truly get it.
✨ Our first meeting is all about YOU.
We’ll take time to get to know one another, share how ADHD shows up in our day-to-day lives, and brainstorm topics you want to see in future meetings — think relationships, work challenges, executive functioning struggles, emotional regulation, and more.
Come as you are — no pressure, no judgment, just real talk with real people.
Space is limited, so if your plans change, be sure to remove your RSVP. It’s easy — just return to the sign up page. The “RSVP” button changes to “You’re going to this event. CANCEL RSVP” — just click that to be removed to let someone else join.
Group Discussion Boards
If you want to connect with others who get it, we invite you to join one or more of the ADHDKC Group Discussion Boards.
They’re hosted right on our website—no social media distractions, no algorithms, and no risk of your personal information being sold. The discussion boards are safe, supportive spaces where you can ask questions, share experiences, and get to know others in the community.
All group boards are moderated to maintain a respectful environment, and any inappropriate content will be removed. Come be part of the conversation—we’d love to hear from you!
Meet Your New Coordinators!
💬 Abbie
Diagnosed with ADHD at 12, it wasn’t until adulthood that Abbie truly began to understand the full impact of her diagnosis. As a licensed therapist, she now helps others through both therapy and ADHD assessments. Outside of work, she’s all about the outdoors, traveling, cooking, video games, and chasing her latest hyperfocus. Abbie brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to the group, and she’s excited to build a supportive, welcoming community.
💬 Nic
Diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, Nic understands how overwhelming, yet empowering, a late diagnosis can be. Nic comes to us as a first year doctoral student in clinical psychology, and brings both personal experience as well as professional insight to his role with ADHDKC. He’s especially passionate about supporting those whose symptoms don’t always align with textbook definitions, and has spent time engaging in conversation with clinicians and researchers about how adult ADHD shows up in real life, which can be messy and complex. Alongside Abbie, Nic’s goal is to help create a space where others can feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their own ADHD journeys.
🗓️ Don’t miss our first session!
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet others who understand your world, share stories, and help shape what’s to come.
Whether you’re looking for community, clarity, or just a place to exhale — we’ve got a seat for you.
We can’t wait to meet you.
