The Parents of kids with ADHD group’s September event will cover integrative and holistic approaches to manage common symptoms of ADHD, such as mood, behavior, impulsivity, hyperactivity and focus.
Pahini Ross from Flourish Bound Integrative Health will be leading this talk. She's a Doctor of Pharmacy, a board-certified clinical nutritionist & functional medicine practitioner with training in pediatric integrative medicine who has personal interest in working with neurodivergent families.

Parent's Group
Our Parent’s group alternates between meeting online only and meeting both online and at Horizon Academy. All events are open to the public and free. Speakers are local professional volunteers and vary monthly.
Adult's Group

Our Women with ADHD group has been led by Bobbie for the past year. She is stepping back at this time.
We are looking for another facilitator, so pass on the opening to anyone you know who has experience leading small groups or working with people with ADHD.
ADHDKCTeen
Calling all Middle and High School Students! ADHDKCTeen is our group for middle and high schoolers. This group meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 or 7:30 PM unless otherwise noted. Meetings are always online and some also allow for gathering in person at Horizon Academy in Roeland Park.
In September we’ll talk about the many conditions that tend to be associated with ADHD. Please see the ADHDKCTeen page for details on our October meeting and a 2nd opportunity in October to learn!
Special Events
From other CHADD Chapters The Eastern Oakland County CHADD Chapter invites others to join their September online event! The speaker is Terry Matlen, a well-known ADHD expert who specializes in women with ADHD. This is one you don’t want to miss! The QR code goes directly to the Zoom event. CHADD resources
CHADD and their partners have developed TOOLS to help you teach your child important skills.
CHADD also has Toolkits (different from TOOLS above) to help you learn about ADHD. Learn about school resources, suicide prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and more!
CHADD also has two podcasts that cover many topics related to ADHD.
The ADHD 365 podcast provides expert advice, tips, and strategies for families, adults, educators, and professionals.
The All Things ADHD podcast is a learning resource program of CHADD’s National Resource Center, funded by the CDC, to disseminate expert information to improve the lives of those affected by ADHD.
